ComparisonThe Toltec and Aztec calendar are very much alike since they are both round and have many symbols and are hand carved. They are both baisicallly made with the same things like stone and mud.

The Toltecs also made many figures and statues of clay and stone.

Both the Toltecs and the Aztecs practiced human sacrifice to please their gods and keep them happy. They also both focused on the heart of the person being sacrificed

The Aztecs unlike the Toltecs worshiped the eagle when the Toltecs saw the snake as a god.

Cultural: We can learn how the people used art to worship their gods. Economical: They also traded their art like for example this statue made of mud and stone. |
Both Toltecs and Aztecs had many gods that they worshiped and had many religious ceremonies to please them but their gods are not necessarily the same. The Quetzlacotl Toltecs had Quetzlacotl the serpant god and they also had Tezcatlipoca who was the god of all things evil. The Aztecs had many gods and some are Centeotl the god of maize and Tláloc the god of rain.
