Toltec ArtifactA Toltec worrior
This figure is a non spesific worrior in the Toltec community. It does not represent something religious its just a worrior holding a blade for war. We can see by looking at the statue that war to the toltecs was very important. Also the way and texture this statue was built is different from the Aztec stature that was made from mud and rock.

Aztec ArtifactA statue of Xochipilli
The figure above is a god and the fact that the Aztecs most of the time made statues of their gods represents that they had a very strict faith and that they had to give offerings to the gods in order to keep things under control. The material in which this statue was built is another difference.

SimilaritiesBoth the Aztecs and the Toltecs were very good in crafts and art. They loved to represent their people by creating a stone figure of them. Sometimes they traded their work with other civilizations or sometimes they kept them as statue to worship.
